I just had a terrific conversation with the author of a book about one of the descendants of the Jedediah line.  The book is available on Amazon and is entitled "American Journey of George W. Strong."  He lived in southern Michigan during the 1800's.  The author is Peter Centa.  He worked for several years compiling data about a fascinating person in our history.
